Launch your career

Oakton’s Graduate Program is a two-year rotational program that allows you to be totally immersed in dynamic and complex projects for our clients. We provide a supportive environment with a mixture of on-the-job, virtual and structured training to help you grow and thrive. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and be exposed to diverse people, situations and environments.
Whether you’re completing studies in information technology, engineering or economics, or have completed your degree and gained some work experience, you could be a successful graduate at Oakton. We’re looking for talented, driven and passionate graduates who aren’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and take responsibility, working with our teams on projects delivering leading and meaningful solutions for our clients.

Who are we looking for?

While the work we do and the teams we create are as diverse as the graduates we hire, there are some common traits that will see you succeed:

  • You love learning new things: you’re open-minded, a quick learner, and have a growth mind-set. We’re particularly interested in graduates who are keen to be challenged and are open to developing and learning new technical skills and competencies.
  • You’re a team player: you thrive in collaborative environments, and love bouncing ideas off others; but you can work independently when needed as well.
  • You’re a strong communicator: you can clearly articulate your ideas, passion and perspective both in person and in writing.
  • You value openness, empathy and inclusivity: we’re committed to building a culture where everyone can bring their whole and authentic self to work.

Our next graduate intake periods: July 2018
